We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and associates very seriously. Like you, we’re closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
PHYSICAL THERAPY WITHOUT LEAVING YOUR HOME
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will help you practice social distancing by offering Tele-PT in which you and a physical therapist can conduct on-going treatment virtually via a cell phone, tablet or computer. You can participate in the session from the safety and comfort of their home or other remote location. The service is completely confidential, private and meets all HIPAA regulations.
Our physical therapists will conduct a comprehensive one on one session in which all of the usual problem solving takes place. Each treatment will involve an in-depth interview and special testing to determine the most appropriate exercises and activities for that telehealth visit and for ongoing home exercise until the next virtual meeting. Patients will be able to demonstrate the exercises and postural activities for the therapist who will provide guidance and correction of form as needed. Our therapist will adjust the treatment plan by discontinuing exercises and stretches that are becoming too easy and adding more advanced activities as appropriate.
WE ARE STILL OPEN
We will remain open at all three of our locations with our longstanding tradition of individual treatment rooms, that will be sanitized after every visit, for the patient’s convenience. We are following and exceeding all CDC guidelines to minimize possible exposure to cold/flu and coronavirus.
We are all in this together. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies, so we can continue to support our patients, providers, and communities as needed.
